
Kenzie Ford
Trombone
Kenzie Ford (she/they), a charismatic trombone soloist hailing from Kincardine, Ontario, is currently a student of Vanessa Fralick at the University of Toronto. As an active member of the university's Contemporary Music Ensemble and Brasses of the Round Table Brass Quintet, Kenzie showcases her talent and dedication. Beyond campus, she is an active freelancer with various regional orchestras and chambre ensembles. As a soloist, Kenzie has performed with Hannaford Youth Brass Band, Metropolitan Silver Band, Upper Canada Brass, and Kincardine Brass Band. She is the manager and founder of her trombone quartet, the Bloor Street Bones. Last spring, Kenzie, and pianist, Rebecca Synard, performed their debut recital as Synard-Ford duo at the University of Toronto. Outside of music, Kenzie enjoys exploring her fascination with mushrooms and fungi, camping, and spending time with her brother and cats.
