Anthony Gunadi

Biography

Anthony Gunadi is a Canadian composer, game audio generalist for Hiro and Team Hami, co-founder and artistic director of the minMAX Electroacoustic Orchestra, and teacher. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Composition from the University of Toronto, where he is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Music Technology and Digital Media. Notable Canadian composers he studied with include Norbert Palej, Christos Hatzis, Jeffrey Ryan, and Linda Catlin Smith; he also participated in masterclasses led by Ana Sokolović and Marjan Mozetich. His achievements include winning the first-ever 1st place Achievement in Audio at the 2025 Level Up Student Showcase for "Cooking with a Gun", the 2023–24 Orchestra Toronto Prize in Composition for "Snowflakes by the Hearth", and the 2023–24 University of Toronto Piano Trio Composition Competition for "Maker of the World". His ongoing projects include directing the minMAX Electroacoustic Orchestra, an ensemble bridging classical, jazz, and electronics; creating audio for upcoming game releases "Bakeaway" and "Hiro"; and working on various independent recording and composition projects.
