Anwen

Biography

Anwen (she/they) is a classical and historical flutist currently in her fourth year at the University of Toronto, where she is majoring in classical flute performance. She is delighted to perform with minMAX again this season! They have previously performed in the University of Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Wind Ensemble, and the Wind Symphony, and they are currently in UofT’s Collegium Musicum (major ensemble tba). Anwen has been the recipient of numerous awards, including three Royal Conservatory of Music Gold Medals and a Platinum Seal awarded by the Calgary Performing Arts Festival. After completing her undergraduate degree, Anwen plans to pursue multiple degrees in historical and classical performance. In their free time, Anwen enjoys crocheting, acting, reading, dancing, modeling, visiting history museums, and attending as many live concerts as possible.
